SpillWatch!® is a compact, high-sensitivity optical oil spill detection system designed for installation on vessels, platforms, and coastal stations. It continuously monitors the water surface for oil films and triggers alarms when a spill is detected — giving operators early warning for rapid response.
Continuous optical oil spill detection for vessels and platforms
SpillWatch!® uses a combination of UV fluorescence and infrared detection to continuously scan the water surface for oil films. When oil is detected, the system triggers an alarm and logs a geo-referenced event record for reporting and enforcement. The compact design allows installation on a wide range of vessels, offshore platforms, and coastal monitoring stations. An ATEX/IECEx-certified explosion-proof version is available for use in hazardous areas such as oil terminals and refineries. SpillWatch!® is used by port authorities, coastguards, and environmental agencies worldwide for routine monitoring and incident response.
